Camp Muffly
In addition to being Mon County’s primary site for 4H activities, facitilities are also available for public rental. It has been the home. Camp Muffly has graciously hosted the WV Wine and Jazz Festival since 2000.

The WVU Jazz Club seeks to enhance jazz performance and educational activities in WVU’s Jazz Studies Department. The student directed club supports live performance activities in the greater Morgantown area.

Donations

WVU Endowment Fund
The WV Wine and Jazz Festival has endowed a scholarship through the WVU Endowment Fund that assists West Virginia students seeking a degree in jazz studies at WVU. Awards are for four years and the program has been in place since 1998.

WVU Foundation
The WV Wine and Jazz Festival has made contributions to the WVU Foundation to assist the WVU division of Music in funding student travel for performance opportunities. Additionally, the Davis College of Agriculture has received assistance through donations to the Foundation.

Music in the Schools
The “Music in the Schools” program is direct outgrowth of the WV Wine and Jazz Festivals mission to support jazz and music education in the state of WV. “Music in the Schools” funds jazz performances in K-12 schools in WV by ensembles from WVU and WV Wesleyan College. Each year, the two academic institutions present dozens of performances throughout the state, reaching students in every corner of West Virginia.

Music Scholarship Awards
The WV Wine and Jazz Festival has made donations in the form of scholarships to pre-college students wishing to participate in WVU’s Community Music Program. The program provides private music instruction, ensembles and performance opportunities to students from the tri-state area.
